THE WHAT? Good Glamm is said to be poised to strike a deal for Raymond Group’s consumer care unit, according to a report published by Silicon India, quoting anonymous sources familiar with the matter, the Indian e-commerce giant is in ‘advanced talks’ to acquire the owner of Park Avenue and KamaSutra.

THE DETAILS The cash and stock transaction is thought to be in the region of Rs2,500 and Rs2,800 crore, which would make it one of the largest acquisitions to date in the beauty and personal care category.

Both companies declined to comment when approached by Silicon India.

THE WHY? If the deal goes ahead, Good Glamm will enter both the men’s personal care and sexual wellness categories for the first time.
