THE DETAILS According to a report published by Jing Daily, Guan is the brand’s first Chinese ambassador and her vast following makes her a wise choice.

THE WHY? Coty said on its Instagram account that the Chinese actress and singer’s luminous spirit and natural radiance make her the perfect fit for Chloe fragrances – and, presumably, access to her 37 million Weibo followers can’t hurt. It’s worth noting too that the appointment comes hot on the heels of China’s return to travel; with some three years of pent-up demand, travel retail is bound to have a resurgence this year.
